Shiva Parivaram 1

Sham Mangalam Karoti iti Shiva.

The above sentence means :

His presence creates Auspiciousness everywhere.

No other Deva is called "Parama." Only Shiva is called ParamaShiva.  Parama means Supreme.

According to Pancha Brahma Mantram, Shiva is always SADASHIVA. He is always auspicious. He is one who has no anger. He only pretends to be angry. He only does good. There is no bad in any aspect of Shiva. Shiva is magnanimous and can grant any boon easily.

The words to remember is "Shiva is Always Auspicious."

īśāna sarvavidyānāmīśvaraḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ brahmādipati brahmaṇo'dhipatir
brahmā śivo me astu sa eva sadāśiva om

Ruler of all knowledge, Master of all beings,
Commander of all study and devotion,
That God Auspicious to me,
Be He just so, the Ever-Auspicious Om.
